For the last one and half year’s actress Pragna has not signed any film and taking up a film opposite Diganth now. It is ‘Anarkali’ in the direction of Sadhu Kokila for which the director scores the music.
Sadhu Kokila sitting next to Pragna on the lawns of Rockline Studio stated he has requested Pragna to act in the song number because she is the heroine of my next film. Pragna was in the role of ‘Ichalumaradamma’ alias ‘Gundu Devathe’ – the tree from which liquor is drawn.
Pragna in the meantime is busy as she has to write examinations of II PUC from tomorrow and it by correspondence she has taken up the exams. In the last one year or so Pragna is learning ballet, jazz and gym from a Russian Yana Lewis. To bring authenticity to the ‘Anarkali’ role Pragna is preparing with solid preparations.
According to Pragna the tutor did not give admission because all cinema people do not focus the ballet precisely in the cinema. On knowing my interest to learn and then do the acting the admission was given. As a result with complete preparation Pragna is appearing as ‘Anarkali’ in April. This film has nothing to do with ‘Salim and Anarkali’. It is a dance cum musical cinema.
The role for Pragna will be parallel to the hero Diganth in the film, Diganth plays the fashion photographer in this film.
Sadhu Kokila after visiting the Hamp Utsav has decided it is the proper place for him to shoot for ‘Anarkali’. He is fed up of places like Bangkok and Thailand.
